You “have” to hold at least a year barring a financial collapse the tax treatment and savings will be immense.

Rental yields there are awful but appreciation can be immense - though only in certain areas.Lagos Nigeria interests me as well - sub Saharan Africa’s largest city and it’s coastal to boot.

Definitely not the case with COVID, but I don't think an across-the-board assumption can be made, just my opinion.What can't be ignored are the immense numbers of cancellations and lost revenue (those graphs are scary).

My husband stumbled upon Rich Dad Poor Dad, we listened to it together on audiobook and it excited us immensely.  

What I am saying is I can't be certain as I don't work for the SBA.The reason I started this thread was to provide a resource for rental property owners to utilize if the needed assistance during this tragic times.The reality is the nature of this Economic and Health Disaster is so immense that the SBA program has had to undergo numerous updates and revisions.

If banks could put a pause on things for just a couple months it would help many of us immensely to reorganize to save our hard earned investments.
