If i could recommend anything, especially because you have the initial funds to get into serious trouble,  it would be to very clearly define what it you want to do with the money that way you are focused on what you will look for and would spend the money on that way you won't allow yourself to make a rash decision.

I am sure you can not say that you have successfully closed 100% of short sale transactions so this scenario must have come up before.By the way,in debates back and forth such as this, nobody can see facial expressions or tones of voice, it is just text, as such, sometimes misunderstandings take place and I wanted to be clear that I am enjoying our converstaion back and forth, I am not attempting to argue with you.
