@Benjamin Bleasdale if you can master cabinets, baseboard, tile, installing bathtubs, windows, all types flooring, siding, roofing, drywall, painting and basic handyman stuff you will do good.

If not, and the contractor goes to install a window, or bathtub, or stove...and there is damage, the contractor will look at you with a helpless look and ask "Do you want me to put the broken one in?".
