Best to lay your groundwork and engage the Engineer early on.

Currently I run QuickBooks, but their claim is there’s no need for QB as their accounting and reporting is a QB replacement.Should I be running QuickBooks along side Buildium or ditch QuickBooks and solely use Buildium?

If your corporate attorney is not able to handle it, you may wish to find a corporate attorney in CA to work alongside your corporation's attorney, unless the CA attorney is also familiar with Canadian laws.

Do you frequently require subcontract and vendor engagement (lawn care, snow removal, building maintenance, management company etc.) and if so, do you sign contracts and require that you are listed  as additional insured on their insurance policies?
