Orygone has NO sales tax  buying that 125k Tesla or that 500k airplane or that 2 million dollar motor home saves you quite a bit. property tax's about same as CA.. but income tax's just as high..

I finished reading the book today and since he mentions BiggerPockets many, many times I got the hint and came here to hang.In my free time - lol I have none... but I do love spending time with my girlfriend even though it ends up revolving around talking about all of this (she's in the startup world as well luckily), and I am addicted to aviation and love flying airplanes when I have the chance and money.

By that I mean, you can't do something with a real estate contract that you couldn't do with a contract to buy an airplane, for example.

as a car owner who  is all electric.we are a small fraternity.. but change is happening.. and maybe the smart operator now has gas pumps and figure out high energy out put superchargers like we have for our Tesla's  and Porsche is going to have theirs.But i hear ya on the 25 to 50 years back sometimes when I am in the deep south talking to one of the workers or what have you and they tell me they have never been in an airplane and many never left the state LOL.Just so foreign of a concept for many in Upwardly mobile areas

I mean just think about the PAIN we go through buying a car.then think about how U buy a Tesla.. takes all of 5 to 10 minutes on line and its done and that include financing if your not paying cash. you get an e mail that your car is ready.. its more like buying a new airplane..
