- that brings up a list of all people who posted in the thread, and you scroll along and pick the person you want.Another way is to again use the "at" symbol @ followed by the first few (I think at least three) characters of the user's name; this can also allow you to tag colleagues to participate in a topic.

Think New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, etc.The problem with that though is a) You may not be able to afford anything there, or b) If you can afford a downpayment you'll be eating negative cash flow.In short, the highest appreciating markets may cost you too much per month to participate in because they have large negative cash flow.So you need to find a market that balances the two.

@w phillpots, as a newbie, which I consider myself 19 months into investing, but not new to entrepreneurship, you have to understand quickly that a lot of people won't embrace your newbie status into this space, especially when you come with a mindset of leveraging technology, automation, and anything online related to conduct business that's adverse to that archaic models that didn't allow space for everyone to succeed, let alone participate in.
