I am curious if anyone knows of any good real estate meetups in either the East Bay or in the San Jose area?

@Gabe Goudreau We're investors in Indy and have completed a few BRRRRs on the east side.

It's more common for a roommate to suddenly vanish in the middle of the night without paying rent. 

I am your typical white collar, white male, upper middle class who works in tech.

The East Bay is more affordable than S.F. - I would caution against Oakland or Berkeley because they have very pro-tenant laws. 

I attended middle school here and spent many years growing up in the area.

If price point for these properties is a limiting factor, properties found on the North side of Veteran's Memorial Pkwy can be viable too, as long as they are on the East side of Santa Barbara Blvd, and South of Pine Island Rd (SR-78)

We are in the middle of major infrastructure and RE growth (res and comm) and need to know how best to handle the property we are on from both a short time and potential long term investment perspective.
