I know not a lot of carriers want add/remove properties, if that, it will need to be worth their while.

@Brian Halstead,Sorry to hear about your troubles with your insurance broker.I work for Fenix Risk Management, an independent insurance agency licensed to do business in Florida with access to multiple carriers in multiple markets.

The only claims that count against you as an owner and will get you dropped are 2-3 non storm related claims made in 12-24 month period depending on the Insurance carrier.

In fact, the properties on either side of the house are commercial - one a house that was converted to a nursery school some years ago, and on the other side, a former gas station that is now major wireless carrier's cell phone store. 

That's the big tax hit for seller carriers.

For us, what works is a RAV4 with 90,000 miles on it with a custom trailer hitch+wiring harness, a cargo carrier, and two different trailers.

Unfortunately, all personal lines companies will have a 3-5 property limit before they turn you away.Once a landlord gets beyond 5-10 units, they should really be looking into options with a commercial insurance carrier. 

Well the already pissed off, very Type A personality, very well trained guy wanted to throw on the plate carrier, go lights out, and get playful in the dark.
