Also, being a former division 1 athlete and having played professional basketball in Germany for 2 years, I am a huge sports fan (partial to basketball and football)!  

The primary things keeping it alive are the dam, the medical community (one of the top athletic doctors in the nation works there) and a Google research facility.

I do not currently reside here.Dubai, UAEPros: It's where I'd prefer to invest because I'm currently in the city, I'm a member of a cycling team, I've got a current network of day-to-day friends, athletic clubs I'm a part of.  

I'm reminded of how there are top players on a team and then one day the rookie comes in and just blows everybody away including the top athletes.
