Hello

I am a student at South Dakota State University, where I also play baseball. I am VERY interested in real estate and plan to do some type of investing after college. I am pretty new to everything and would love some suggestions on what to learn and what books to read. Looking forward to being a part of this online community.

@Mitch Foster nice to meet you. My advice is purchase a house and rent for student housing. Brookings market has been great for years and between the university and manufacturing base, I don't expect that to change. If you don't have money for a down payment, try to find a partner like parents or relative to invest with you. Put together a business plan.
