You need to focus on basics at this point, not real estate: food, clothing, shelter. 

You can make minor adjustments based on the type of appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, air conditioning, etc.) and the size of the rental.

More importantly, I have never felt more vulnerable than when I was buckling a screaming newborn into a carseat, while running errands alone, still physically weakened and recovering from childbirth, with my wardrobe basically limited to stretchy clothes (impossible to conceal a weapon.)

They don’t keep commemorative plates and collectible spoons, but they keep clothes, kayaks, bikes, Christmas decorations, old computers, instruments, tools, etc. 

I suspect vagrants are living in one of them become there are clothes and vandalism.

I run a small web business selling clothing online and just thought to sign up.

IE if the plumbing is shot due to not being winterized, wiring is cloth, and heat is still on '50s space heaters - the place is getting gutted so a few extra personal effects laying around the house make no difference.

I have a 3 bed 1 bath 1200 sq' SFH with full basement.Basement is okay as basements go, but isn't pretty or inviting...Washer and dryer are in the basement.Home is on a septic system.I'm considering converting the smallest bedroom to a laundry room/folding room/extra clothing storage.
