Hello, I'm lucky enough that a foreign diplomat is interested in a 4-year lease on my house in Chicago.  

Truthfully they keep blaming everyone else for the rental and housing crisis in the the state they manage.

Our thought is two fold; they can always sell their contract to a new tenant and if that doesn't work, it would be better to accept reduced rent than it would be receive no rent for the duration of the crisis.  

Assignments are typically 13 weeks, but a lot of times nurses extend for up to a year, but with Covid there are a lot more short term "crisis" contracts, like 2-8 weeks long.

I wanted to densify our urban neighborhoods to add more housing choices and help the housing crisis.

The market crashed in 29’ and black Monday in the 80’s hyper inflation back then as well. 08’ crisis and now we’ve been in a nice run for a long time.
