The house is outdated, ugly wall paper, laminate butcher block kitchen counters, appliances are old but they do work, and needs a coat of fresh paint.

Have you considered moving the back wall(the wall the fridge is on), that way you have more space and add the dishwasher; but, honestly don't think a dishwasher is needed unless the property you are looking at is outdated and the other homes have dishwashers.

It’s not just outdated, it is in a very bad shape where cabinet doors are kept in place by scotch tape.

Property looks lived in but a little outdated so just from pictures looks like it would be just a cosmetic rehab.

The assessment is likely out dated, hence the low rate.

It's an older neighborhood so all the houses have hardwood but aside from that most have very cheap and outdated look.
