Finally, asking for copies of a landlord's notices to tenants, without a search warrant and without a good cause to believe a crime has been committed, violates the privacy rights of owners under the Fourth Amendment of the Bill of Rights, which guarantees that: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses,papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no [search] warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Your friend got away with moving people in only because the prior occupants were ignorant, and didn't know they likely could have the new owner by the short hairs.  

Other than that they are short haired, not aggressive and being 20lbs and blind not going to be much of a problem except maybe accidents.

Is dander and hair considered damage?
