My "neck of the woods" is in Middle Tennessee(Greater Nashville Area) and I have picked up some new investors that do a variety of different types of developments including hospitality, mixed use, multifamily and retail.  

Maybe we northeasterners are just more conservative, I don't know.)Anyway, this blogger has very recently posted a blog saying that she hasn't flipped for a while b/c deals have become harder and harder to find in her neck of the woods, and competition from other flippers has gotten more heated.All this has gotten me wondering: 1. 

I hear Texas is a vet friendly place, I would welcome a move to your neck of the woods.If you hear of our see anything that looks like it would be up my alley don't hesitate to get into contact.

BiggerPockets is definitely the place to be to learn all you need to know about every conceivable niche there is.On a side note, we're about to close on an apartment building down in Port Charlotte in six weeks or so, so I'll be down close to your neck of the woods.

The banks in my neck of the woods typically want 25% down with 6 months of reserves for investment properties, so I guess it's all relative.

I understand there is a REIA in that neck of the woods.

I would recommend in your neck of the woods and self manage the property right out of the gate.

An eviction in my neck of the woods would have easily have ran me about $1,000 and almost two to three months.
