@Derek Raivio the requirement for you to have a pre-exitsing substantive relationship with your investor goes beyond merely being friends and/or relatives.

I merely put in my lease that they, or their guests, cannot conduct illegal activity on the premises.

But I didn't ask the forum's opinion as to whether suing was worth my time and money, so the appraisal cost should have been irrelevant to you. i was only asking if anyone had successfully sued a bank for an appraisal fee; the amount would have been immaterial.In addition, the state appraiser board doesn't accept complaints that have anything to do with someone merely complaining about value.

Most of these courses people sign up for are all hype and “ take action” no meat on any bones  The course providers will tell you it’s really their “mentoring” you’re paying for, the course work is merely the foundation.I wonder if it’s a shock for the “students” when they find that the mentorship doesn’t consist of the “guru” providing a “one to one” learning experience; instead it consists of a person who couldn’t make it selling the gurus products converted to a “wealth counselor” role with absolutely no experience in either real estate or finance, and answering questions from a provided script.
