My personal rule of thumb going forward, after having a truly horrific contractor experience, is to try to envision some of the worst that can happen and include protection from it in my contract.

I leary of people that bame everything on everyone esle. there are reason that are legit; death, ilness, accidents with injury etc., etc....but it can be hard to seperate fact from fiction.
