Garage apt, finished walkout basement, finished attic with separate entrance?

With furniture and other things floating around or sunk to the bottom...Walk over to the side entrance which had a nice paved landing for an RV or carport and it is FILLED with garbage bags...I'm talking 25 feet long and as tall as I am...FILLEDAll in all, the WORST tenant I have ever seen in my entire life but with the help of some friends and family, we bought a dumpster (or 3) and gutted the ENTIRE house...paid a contractor to fix it up and it has since went up ~65k in value :) I am renting it out to a nice family who maintains it in the way it should!

We are considering moving the entrance of the apt to one of the middle rooms that way you avoid passing through all the bedrooms to arrive to kitchen/bathroom. 

The best way is to separate the electrical entrances.  

A tenant provided notice that she is not renewing the lease and moving out, the building is a triplex, each tenant has separate entrances and parking areas.

The in law unit has a separate entrance, living room, kitchenette, master bedroom. 

An accessory unit can be completely separate as a carriage house as well as an English basement.Now they could just be wrong, but I was very specific when I went down to DCRA about completely separate entrance with no interior access.

Lower Level - move the HWH to the laundry room, open up the rec room and move the entrance to the half bath to the rec room. 

A fire alarm zoning indicating panel shall be located at a visible location at the main entrance of buildings with fire alarm systems, or at a location approved by the fire department.I'm curious where the fire alarm panel should be located in a mixed use property in Philadelphia (store front with a unit at the back and another unit upstairs).

Absolutely, and it will probably cost you a lot to separate the units (entrances, plumbing, metering, etc.)
