@Cheryl Olson Your answer was not clear.Forgetting about the loan modification on the larger, first mtg....which mtg was foreclosed on....the much smaller mtg issued or the much larger original mtg that I believe you confirmed was recorded first?

Pragmatically I thought that having more rental properties would diversify my risk from vacancies.The owner occupancy requirement I was referring to the ones necessitated for a FHA loan.
