As a FYI, at least here, there's no guarantee section 8 will allow them to transfer their voucher and move into another home, even if the fire was accidentally caused by them.

...I would imagine that many BP landlords are getting Section 8 rent, where the voucher amount and the allowances for utilties by the housing authority end up setting the rent received by the landlord.For your existing tenants, you could probably get away with the bigger increases - if their income was keeping up and other rental units in the area also went up similarly.

message me the address and I'll take a look and email you photos this week if you want...it's possible the tenant's voucher was up, but from my understanding, the greater possibility is you went into abatement and the PM never fixed what the inspectior requested, so they stopped checks.

I have two questions:1) Is there a place where section 8 rental voucher amounts for all major MSAs throughout the country are already aggregated, or would I have to search for this information on all of the individual MSA housing authority websites.2) Is there a place that has aggregated data on median prices for homes with different bed/bath counts for all major MSAs throughout the country?
