I put on roller blades 16 years ago.

What works for me is pulling the snap back, setting the rod and using a long flat blade screwdriver in my other hand to lift the pad then let go and pray.

The oscillating tool is also nice for cutting hard to reach plumbing and other stuff but the blades can get pretty expensive.

Be careful if you blade snow.Payback is about 12 years.Not the best use of the land, but didn't need it at the time for storage.Put at 60 degree angle, otherwise you get a lot less spaces, since your driveways have to be wider.

If you do manage to ascertain that the travertine does still stink of urine, remove the top layer of the grout between the travertine tiles (if there is grout) with an oscillating tool blade and put in a layer of one-step premixed grout with a putty knife before you try removing the travertine.

Additionally, every time they hit a rock or fallen tree branch, your blades will be getting duller and duller, and you will need to sharpen them again and again.

If they aren’t then you can expect a cool $10,000 or more from inspecting the boxes up top as well as the blades.
