This is only happening in areas that have a strong hotel presence, rural areas that rely on cabins or other STR do not have this problem.

For weeks/months/years it could be totally fine, without incident. 

An investor always needs to protect themselves and NOT rely on what others tell them.I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing.
