If the lender calls the note due, you simply undo the owner-financing, and go back to how it was, no harm done.

The  most likely harm that will come with a bad contract is you will lose a deposit or a deal.

Don't be a LL.So, for every statute, rule, and regulation you ***** about, it is there because enough people were being big enough of a dick, creating enough harm to society, that the politicians had to step in and do something. 

Getting in front of the potential lead is key, but I would be careful about doing it in a way that could lead to some bad word of mouth that could harm your reputation early on.
