"Florida governor declares state of emergency ahead of Dorian"

My understanding is it hasn't become law yet but is just awaiting the governors signature. 

The package was signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and went into effect immediately.

It seems that the new Rent Stabilized bill that was signed into law last week by the Governor makes it impossible to make money off rent and do a condo conversion.

The governor that enacted this law happened to have family that were special needs.There are also funds from HUD designated towards housing homeless.

My SFRs are in a city where the property taxes have gone up nearly 20% the last year, thanks to our new governor cutting state aid to that city and property values having declined by more than half.

However, there will be three opportunities to amend the legislation before it heads to the governor.
