A 50k addition (adding an extra bath and bedroom) would likely add 75k of value to the house. 

CA doesn't have an extra $30b/$40b laying around to do that, not to mention the additional billion to actually do the project to be build ready. 

The reality is the opposite - if it's not in writing then the PMC doesn't have to provide the service or can charge extra for it!

I have found that going that extra mile, like the couch covers etc and making sure the person with the disability has the easiest time visiting our place.As someone with a disability (I have a degenerative neurological disorder) and use a cane, I like to make sure folks with similar issues have a good time.

At this stage you're probably better off investing that extra money into your primary business activity.What part of CA are you in?

And that extra $40-$50k a year will be life changing.

As an example, we decided to replace the windows in a house we were renovating and ended up costing us $50,000 extra because we got into issues with permitting and suddenly found ourselves having to hire an architect, speciality contractors, etc.  

So paying the $2 extra for the juice, but being able to portion it out in cocktails that you can charge much more for... 

Everything extra was thrown into the mortgage.
