We'll be at their FIRE Summit in March and their 2nd annual cruise this summer.We have also been to a few of the Real Estate Guys events. 

I looked at buying from stan creek/dangriga (awesome people) down to Hopkins /plascensia / seine bright- at that time there were rumors of increased cruise line plans in that area (placencia/seine bright) .

Last thing I read was a softening of the $5M+ apartments in NYC but the $1M-$3M market was still cruising along well.

That way when your cruising the MLS and something looks like an amazing deal you can refer back to your map.

This is what I did:Figure out where you want to invest, then narrow it down to more specific area(s) within that location (neighborhood/zip code)Get a feel for what rents go for using zillow/craigslist/ property management companiesNow start cruising around in google earth/maps, do this up down blocks near the house(s) you've been looking at.

We have a great International airport, cruise ports nearby, theme parks, easy access to East and West coast beaches, awesome year round weather that is far less effected by hurricanes than any beach location and so much more.Virtually all STR's that are sold here come fully furnished and ready to go.

I cruise yelp for restaurants/shops.

For those who are familiar with cruise lines, the Norwegian cruise line just invested 400 million to dock 1 mile off the shore of the Placencia Strip.
