I'm putting back splash (which idk why but love to install them my self, takes my mind off of things) I get a really beautiful white rock like with silver for 6$ a sqft (only need 12-14 sqft).

I purchased amazing backsplash tile for $5/sq ft - glass, travertine and marble mosaic.

Looks great with bright white trim.In one kitchen, I had a weird colored backsplash I was trying not to clash with, making the color I just linked impossible to use.  

Hello BP family, I am looking to make an offer on the following property:Condominium 2 bedrooms2 bath1,204 sq ft patio with storage, near pool, wood floors, washer/dryer, fridge includedseller wants $1,850 per month and wants to sell for $335,000I checked the comps using Zillow and it looks like a comparable unit that is a 2/2 that has all upgrades and is asking 313k, the owner said this unit just sold for 310kall the upgrades: dark wood floors throughout, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, recessed lighting, pedestal lighting, upgraded trim, counter back splash, new cabinets and fixtures, floating shelves and a new HVAC unit.Whereas the unit I want to make an offer on has none of these things, but does have a larger square footage (1,204 sf compared to 952 sf).

New cabinets, granite, glass tile backsplash, moved some plumbing and electrical around a bit, etc.Pricing in LA and NY might be similar.

I have absolutely no experience in construction and my DIY experience has been nothing more than putting up backsplash and painting in my home.

What colors are your walls, is there a backsplash; color of your appliances, stainless or colored.  

Updating the tile and adding an inexpensive backsplash that adds a pop of color might go a long way.

It was renovated by the owners (new flooring throughout, new paint, vanities, tile backsplash) but needs all new appliances ($3,000+ here for washer, dryer and stainless fridge and stove).
