I french drained the runoff to graded ground to further remove the water from the property.  

We had a water leak on a pair of exterior french doors which turned out to have been leaking for months due to an incorrect installation. 

Maybe one of the solutions could be french drain system.

That said, persistent moisture in crawlspaces can affect foundation stability in some instances, in that case its usually better to address the moisture intrusion at the root cause ie, routing water around the perimeter of the home via french drain system. 

I just showed a property to a couple that breeds French Bulldogs. 

I own a few properties in the US, and started looking at diversifying into French assets.

Maybe add French doors to back yard where the big window is now?

If it is water table and the floor of the basement is not a slab I'd put a french drain in the actual basement ground running to a sump pump in the corner.
