The crypto market really isn't mainstream and many would consider it fiat currency with no intrinsic value, but it still does have some value when one calculates out the cost to produce each new Bitcoin, etc.

My advice is to accept all forms of payment (maybe not bitcoin or 20 chickens - lol).As far as calling code enforcement well, all you can do, and should have been doing, is keeping your property up to code in the first place.
