I live in Ventura County and several of the listed addresses are not in my county.

Same for teachers.I don't know what you do for a living and what your commute looks like but keep in mind that ACE runs a rail line from Stockton to San Jose and that Bart does connect fairly well into the peninsula now (terminus in Millbrae right next to Caltrain).Los Gatos mountains is still relatively cheap compared to down the hill.

I just made some phone calls to Family Dollar stores and Ace Cash in my area (Minneapolis) that were listed on PayNearMe website under the location page.  

@Leslie B.I'm still exploring Stockton as an option so my opinion may change after I gather more information, but:Pros: (1) possible appreciation because it is close to the Bay Area and may benefit from people looking for cheaper housing options (indeed, the ACE train runs from Stockton to Silicon Valley); (2) a better rent-to-price ratio than many other California cities allowing for more cash flow opportunities; and (3) proximity to San Francisco, which allows me to invest closer to home. 

I ran across someone wanting to sale ten aces of land now on this land it has six houses with two of them has to be demo do to the age of the houses.

I myself have taken logic classes and aced them.

Hi Mallie,I currently live in Ventura and work in Santa Barbara (Montecito) and saw the aftermath of the Thomas Fire and landslides. 

@Nancy Larcom If you are looking to take a road trip:Take US 101 north out of Los Angeles (you will go through Camarillo, Ventura, Santa Barbara).  

However, struggling with a property-finding challenge for a while, I thought of trying to throw my question in, and hopefuly get some help:We are trying to build a list of owners of free standing commercial buildings, in my area (Ventura county, California). thought of going to the county, but when I called, they said they don't have a way to separate proprieties.
