Today I am being told the price was only valid till the day mentioned on the website and now overall costs have gone up my build cost is up 10%.Though I understand this is a very common scenario for new builds where original price can change significantly for any reason including the recent lumber pricing (which B TW has gone down 3X since the time I signed contract), I did not factor such drastic price changes.

If it were me, I'd find a handful of real buyers and network with some other wholesalers who can help you unload things and then really focus on finding deals.

So in the midst of covid I started this journey, then the price of lumber went up and the builders increased the price $20,000 the end date for this project moved and moved and moved again.

In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane there were a number of very motivated sellers ( and there still are many today) that unloaded their properties at superior discounts, you also have a wide range of bank owned properties here that are also available at a supreme discount, but again these deals aren't easy to uncover.
