Our low cost of living compared to other major cities (Chicago, New York, DC, LA etc) is attractive to folks from those markets because you can get a somewhat downtown experience, pro sports teams, culture/sights/attractions at a comparatively affordable price.

I currently have one tenant living with me in my 4 bed/3 bath house in Boulder who wants to continue living here so the plan to to find 2-3 more people to fill the other rooms over the next couple months while I find a new place to buy or maybe buy a travel trailer and live/work out of it.I have a full time job as a sports marketing manager in the outdoor industry but work out of my house and like to play in the mountains as much as I can.I feel like I have learned a lot about home renovation/construction while owning my house for 6+ years and look forward to learning a lot more from this community.

I'll grant you that Austin is perhaps more well known and talked about, but keep in mind that San Antonio is much, much bigger than Austin and already has several large employers in place, as well as multiple Universities, professional sports teams, medical centers, scientific research facilities, multiple military bases (Randolph AFB, Lackland AFB, Ft Sam, etc) etc.

I like Cleveland with the largest healthcare opportunity here, three large sports teams, and busiest airport in Ohio, and could pivot to a short term rental strategy down the road if MTR didn't work out as much as expected.
