Have you received negative comments from any of your tenants that your style is outdated? 

The building at this time was primarily vacant with several long term tenants whom were paying less than 1/5th of what they should be in addition all 16,000 feet were covered in wood paneling and outdated fixtures and in dire needs of updating. 

We searched the tax records, but several of those are outdated.  

Try this instead: for the next 30 days put one handwritten letter that says you want to buy their house on properties that look outdated.

But, some county websites are outdated, record information at set periods of the year or yearly cycles, being processed, or the property owner info is prohibited by law which some 3rd party will charge you for the protected info, or chasing down the correct address of the property owner and contact info will eat into your time life.Get another agent or title company to write the contract is what I would do.

This kitchen is seriously outdated (original) and would need to be brought down to studs.

The kitchen looks perfectly clean and functional, but the cabinets and countertop would look a little outdated in my mid-Atlantic market (Baltimore-Washington area).

And hey, if the 99% vs 1% rule is anywhere near true, there will be plenty of lower class people to demand older, "out dated", and logic would follow, cheaper housing.
