And if we did not take a  deduction on something  are  we obligated to amend the tax return if we missed a tax deduction?

Depending on the pet and additional deposit and amend the lease I may at a later date allow a pet.

If you wish to change the name you are doing business under without forming a new LLC you may be able to amend your LLC with a DBA (doing business as).

If this CPA's anecdote means anything: Roughly 50% of prospects who contact my firm and DIYed previously need 1-3 years of amended returns upon review.Your situation is never as simple as you think it is. 

Not only that, if you have provided services, etc as a general rule, even though not in the lease, you have implied an amendment to the lease and cannot arbitrarily revoke that. 

If you file now, you can amend in court and add March Rent.
