I doubt it's much better here in the US, everyone I know to be adopted, that are females have told me horrific sexual abuse stories.

I've had the pleasure of a post-pet 25K renovation {inherited tenant} that would challenge that assumption.In either instance the problem is typically the tenant (pet-owner / parent) and not the child or pet themselves.
