Simon - Back in May, we moved to a new payment processor and gave notice to all paying PRO members that their accounts would discontinue one month after the last payment cycle was slated to end -- giving everyone an extra month to re sign up and get to our new processor.

@Lewis Tabor , if by "local" you mean USA tenants then yes, Japan is far easier to manage by a long shot - tenants stick around 4-5 years on average, with 15 and 20 year tenancies quite common too - jobs and financial status is alot more stable there, and people marry, have kids and move around far less.I own about 12 properties here myself, and manage several dozens for clients as well. The business environment is also far more straightforward and honest.

@Simon Lloyd Kind comment, but I'm doubtful my comments are that insightful - regardless, BP is probably stuck with me for a while ... and you will remain as possibly the only Canadian BP Pro for a little longer. ... but seriously, you need to come to the Maritimes so we can work on your geography - we're just a little over halfway between you an Newfoundland (as the crow flies).
