Sorry to be dumb, but what is an exterior stove plug? 

Example, when the gas co. came I had them pull out the gas stove to check for leaks behind it and there was no baseboard behind it.

If not, there is no turnover cost and their unit is basic with none of my appliances except a stove.

I've had tenants move out that claim they cleaned a place all weekend only for me to walk in and find the stove, counters, etc., really aren't that clean.

Just use a non slippery surface.Tile behind the stove makes clean-up easier for you at move out.
