Old technology in todays world is a point of failure.Internet speed is mostly determined by the level of service that you subscribe to. 

@Chris Seveney, I think you are talking about fraud where you as a lender lie about the payoff to extract additional money from the borrower.

And then as he's lying there on the stairs the basement door creaked open an inch, only to slam shut and latch this time, he got up and couldn't get it to open at all, it was now locked, and nobody answered his calls.

you dont a good agent repping a buyer is going to go to bat for them not U keep in mind many sellers lie about all sorts of things.. not saying your that way but it is common the industry.

Hello everyone, I’m interested in hearing about which systems and technological tools you use as real estate investors as part of your work, and how you use them.

People sometimes think they should hide as a landlord so no one knows, but that's not wise because it's so easy to figure out and then you become a lying neighbor/landlord.As others have said, just set ground rules for contact and how, use an online portal, and be responsive.

The reason I posted this question is to see if any specific areas could be improved by technology that can help you be better at your business. we don't live in an ideal world, and sometimes the existing tools, may be useful as we are used to using it, but they arent very optimal.The best way to look at it is to see if there are some problem areas that you think if addressed via technology will help you be more efficient and reduce your investment risks.
