I'm under contract on a property in South Holland (Southwest of Chicago) and looking for input on inspectors.I've been referred to Ryan Valan at a company called General Property Inspections (http://www.valinspect.com/) but would love to hear from other investors about folks you've worked with.

From what I can tell there is basically one cluster of Multi-Family properties on the southwest corner of 92nd and Lowell, aside from 10+ Million dollar apartment buildings.

I've been in Las Vegas for about a year now in the Southwest area, it's been nice and growing! 

You can also look at the areas of Garland that feed the Richardson ISD.In general, you'll find the North & Far North Dallas areas command higher rents than other comparable looking areas of the Metroplex - ie Southwest Arlington.  

If you look at areas on the Coasts or Southwest (Primarily: CA,OR,WA,NV,NM,AZ), you see it less.The issue is with some of the 10 caps I see, they really need to be 15 caps to deal with the risks involved with some of them.

Southwest Madison and Fitchburg may be the place to start looking. 

Hi @Zachary Akey I am a REALTOR in SouthWest Florida and Mainly work Estero and Bonita springs markets which are located just south of Fort Myers.There are plenty of opportunities in Estero and Bonita Springs that I could help you out with if decide to invest in something in this area.  

@Roderick Carabott  the best places are located in the areas of southwest ranches(very pricey), weston, coral springs, davie, plantation, sunrise.

I am basically looking to invest in Southwest Florida first and then moving north.

I've grown up/lived on the southwest side of Chicago for the past 40 years.
