The result of lasuit looks like $3k in my pocket if I settle.  

I planned to purchase a home first, settle in, and look for a job closer if commuting is too much work. 

Any help as we get settled in to this new area would be greatly appreciated! 

Best advice I can offer:  settle on ONE strategy, just one. 

On the tour yesterday, my agent and I noticed some settling in the floors in the top unit (vacant).

There was so much appreciation during the pandemic that it will take years to settle back in line with long term trends.

A door lock doesn't function, four cracked windows, a broken door handle...those sound like issues the PM should have found during the inspection.When you get a lot of repair requests from a new tenant and they seem to be legit, I would recommend they spend a week or two getting settled, write down all the issues they come across, then send your contractor to handle everything at once.
