Hi all,My name is Nelson and I’m trying to get in the loop in Chicago.I’m moving from New York for a job as a software engineer/data scientist and was hoping to start investing in a buy and hold property (I know the Multi-Family market is a bit hot at the moment, so I’m just looking for anything that cashflows) .I’m eyeballing the neighborhoods along the Blue Line but would greatly appreciate any advice or information about events.

Because NO marketer has a math background, no marketer took a course in data analysis, and no marketer is actually a scientist or an engineer... and if you ARE any of these things and you are still doing it wrong... wow!

We almost rented to what had seemed to be a nice group of young scientists, but who then started to pull "professional tenant" crap, and then backed out of the deal two days before they were supposed to move in.  

Globally a significant portion of humanity lives near oceans and as oceans rise (whether you believe climate scientists or not, evidence is showing that oceans are rising) there will ultimately be migration away from these areas.

But then I’ve never met a scientist selling insurance either... few middle school dropouts, but no scientists.
