And of course they really dont have any real reserves they are using this money for rent and food etc.  

I think people need to realize, if they are not going to go hunt for their own food and have it served to them, then they will pay more, just like going to a restaurant - so expecting 11%+ for someone to find the deal is still around, but expectations should be lower.

Are there any benefits or incentives to our church maintaining the building and partnering with someone to do something creative with it such as a rental to low income/unhoused, food pantry, stoarge, etc? 

CPI measures general inflation for consumers for major individual expenses such as food, gas, shelter, and other basics.

Otherwise, a food insurance policy will protect you.

This occurred long before automated advance electronic payments.Interestingly, I never rented to nuns before, I learned that this nunnery doesn't issue paychecks, as the convent provide jobs, housing as well as food at the convent.

I sit in the parking lot of grocery stores and fast foods and look at the clientele.

I have a hard time kicking folks out for any reason, but I let a kindly couple who hoarded food and other stuff and it took 3 weeks to haul everything out and get rid of mice.
