The situation made me go "hmmmm" and I thought it would be a great one to throw out here on a slow Sunday morning.

I did not receive any settlement statement until the morning of the closing and the final settlement statement about 30 minutes before closing.

I know you post it often but I actually read it this morning..

Given the issues you've outlined, it's understandable why you could feel anxious.

So we wouldn't be losing any space by adding this extra 1/2 btr, on the contrary, it's pretty much a "dead space" and the tenants sleeping upstairs wouldn't need to go downstairs in the middle of the night or every morning - definitely more convenient
