@Starr Munoz I think we are all in that predicament.  

I have plenty of family members that I would not trust to take care of a property for me because of their poor work ethic and morals.

Moral... there are countless opportunities.

If you morally can’t make such choices get out of this business.

Probably not because it would be extremely hard to prove and not worth the time and effort so then it becomes more of a moral question for you.If I were weighing whether or not to stay in and bought a house because there was a relatively good chance that I would, then I would not lose sleep if my plans changed and I wound up getting out and moving before my year was up.

I for one would say that being a slumlord is never an appropriate goal for anyone who is a moral person.

There's more risk for new buyers, but not a moral issue.
