Lessons learned?

I have learned a ton about flipping and now have current deals going on.  

If you have the mobility to do so it's a great way to get your feet wet and learn along the way!!!! 

Bigger Pockets is a great place to learn and connect with fellow investors.If you’re looking to invest long distance, I definitely recommend building your core-4 team.

But it’s their chance to learn, meet people, network and advertise themselves. 

@Ike Okwerekwu Recommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.

When I started out I didnt know so I'm learning as I go further.
