I've been using 37 Signals suite (basecamp, highrise, backpack) for about 10 years.

It makes it difficult to some times have to run to a laptop special when you are away on vacation.

Fast forward six years, a few addresses and a 2-year international backpacking trip later, and I had begrudgingly joined the (black) gold rush in North Dakota.

Never lost any files due to theft or damage/failure but it made transferring all my files to my new laptop easy.
