Granite countertops?

You're sure existing cabinet quality is in line with granite counters?

For instance, today I am meeting the contractor at one of my rentals, I am redoing the kitchen, and we are picking out granite colors for the counters (Granite goes in all rentals that rent for more than $2,000 a month).

But inside....totally redone, stud walls and sheetrock, super insulated, efficient windows and doors. granite tops, custom cherry cabinets, large Jacuzzi, walk in shower, pitched roof and beams...projection TV and stone fireplace, very cool space for him.

For instance, I was also going around town to granite shops, speaking with the owners, and I got a great deal with one of them.

What I have not done, put vinal siding on, never laid formica, never cut granite, not a cabinet maker but I built inset boxes/cabinets, never did log siding or logs, no real slick concrete finish, no foam insulation work, no hvac except ducts hung, and other odds n ends, so lots I never did.

We have rehabbed units that are nice in general(granite/SS).

So if everyone else had granite and SS appliances, your ARV is based on granite and SS appliances.

From my previous experience, Section 8 tenants were looking for stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops.

So while I certainly am not looking for personal properties (granite countertop, stainless steel appliances, turnkey :) or the guchiest neighboorhood ) I am looking at schools and neighborhoods.
