Many lenders do not want to work with tiny homes since it is considered a fad and there is really no long-term track record on their resale etc.

All it requires is the "rice-and-beans" diet (ala Dave Ramsey) and a single-minded focus on getting out of bad debt.

Some of the responses in this thread are absolute gold.Investing in real estate is not a new hot fad, by any stretch.

If we did what we were supposed to do without accountability dieting and exercise would not be a multi billion dollar industry each year.

I had to delay a lot of the gratification such as cheating on my diet, drinking with friends, to be in the best shape of my life on stage.

Solar roofs are cool along with battery powered cars but I m a practical man and I don't have the money to gamble on technology that is seen as an unproven fad by middle America.

In aggregate - the BBQ in Raleigh and surrounding towns/cities is hands down better than Rochester.
