I would avoid most anything on tharp street and south of cascades park, and definitely drive around neighboring roads to see what area you are actually in.

I have done many direct mail pieces in my day I grew up with it.My dad as I mentioned above sold lots for Boise Cascade in the 60's.. he did not like getting two to 4 company leads a week so he bought a printing press put it our garage and I would after school print out 1000 or more door hangers . then on the weekends he would take me and 2 or 3 buddies out to the areas he wanted to advertise in and we would drop 2 to 3k door hangers ( circa 1968 to 1974) my pop would end up with 20 leads all self generated and he was a top salesmen in those days..

@Hattie Dizmond I think back to the mid 60's when my dad cracked into real estate.. he was frustrated with corporate jobs.. and got his license and worked part time for Boise Cascade selling land in CA.

@Michael Quarles OH brings back memories... my dad started in RE in 1965 in CA.. working for boise cascade... not many will recall they were heavy in the land business.well he got tied of getting his 3 leads a week. and he bought a printing press put it in our garage and when I got home from school my job was to print 5k door hangers after school all week.. then on Sat and Sun he grabbed me and my buddies and for 1 cent a peice we went to the target neighborhoods and passed paper...

Boise Cascade built 27 of them from socal to Norcal mainly in the foothills of the Seirra Nevada some have been very successful others are still mostly dormant like CA Pines.

Not actually the movie but started selling RE for Boise cascade in the early 60's.. just like the movie.He would go to the sales meeting and the manager would HAND OUT TWO leads just like the movie and you had to produce..
