Be prepared to put down a bit more than the 3.5% FHA requires and you won't be able to participate in Fannie/Freddie first time home buyer programs which is a shame.  

I've taken to social media, specifically twitter, stating that Airbnb should be ashamed of themselves for unilateraling making this decision and unfair business practices.

It's a shame they can't just ratchet up the DTI and DSCR criteria for those of us with huge margins, and still write these loans, from a risk profile perspective sure seems like that would make sense, all other underwriting criteria being held constant.

Some tenants don't start the conversation of having difficulties - they will just move out, ashamed or just broken because of the situation.
